A neglected roof is not only unsightly but also dangerous — it ages and deteriorates more quickly. Moss growth retains water, placing strain on the roof structure. Blocked gutters and downpipes add to this load and increase the risk of organic contaminants spreading to the facade and paving around the building. You do not need to clean every year to keep your roof functional

The recommendation for regular roof maintenance is every 3 to 6 years. When we address an organism infestation problem for a customer, we provide a three-year guarantee against re-infestation. For facades this period is five years, which illustrates how much greater the natural burden on a roof is — and why it deserves sufficient attention.
Cleaning gutters and natural debris deposits in roof corners and recesses should ideally be carried out every year, or at the very least a visual inspection should be performed to check whether the roof has become clogged.

Which roofs can be cleaned

We clean all types: fired and concrete tiles, fibre cement, metal and asphalt shingles. We never step onto the roof — we exclusively use lifting equipment and do not climb ladders, which carry a risk of causing damage.
We use hot water and lower, gentle pressure to remove all dirt and deposits. At the end we apply an antimicrobial spray that repels microorganisms and prevents mould from settling.
